"Closure"

Three years had passed since Swati and Karthik's breakup. Swati had moved on with her life, marrying Rishi and starting a new chapter. She had thought that she had left the memories of Karthik behind, but as she walked into the college reunion, she couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia.

As she scanned the room, her eyes landed on Karthik, standing alone by the bar. He looked older, wiser, and yet, the same spark in his eyes remained. Swati felt a flutter in her chest, but she pushed it aside, reminding herself that she was married now.

As they stood there, catching up and reminiscing about old times, Karthik's expression turned serious.

"Swati, I have to tell you something," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I've spent the past three years living in guilt, regretting the fact that I let you go over something that wasn't your fault."

Swati's eyes widened in surprise, but she listened intently as Karthik continued.

"I was so blinded by my own ego and pride that I didn't realize what I had until it was too late. I've always wanted you back, Swati. I've always loved you."

Swati's heart went out to Karthik, but she knew that she had to be honest with him.

"Karthik, life is all about letting go," she said gently. "I've let go of the past and moved on. You should too."

Karthik nodded, a hint of sadness in his eyes. But as he looked at Swati, he saw the happiness and contentment that radiated from her.

As they stood there, the tension between them was palpable. They both knew that this was goodbye.

Without a word, Karthik opened his arms, and Swati walked into them. They hugged each other tightly, both of them crying silently.

As they pulled back, they looked into each other's eyes, reminiscing about the memories they had shared. They remembered the laughter, the tears, and the countless moments they had spent together.

With one last look, they turned and walked away from each other, both of them crying openly now.

Swati walked out of the reunion hall, tears streaming down her face. She remembered the day they first met, the day they first kissed, and the day they parted ways.

As she walked, she felt a sense of closure wash over her. She knew that she had made the right decision in moving on.

Rishi was waiting for her outside, a concerned look on his face. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, as Swati walked into his arms.

Swati nodded, still crying. "I'm okay," she said. "I just needed closure."

Rishi held her tightly, letting her cry. "You're strong, Swati," he whispered. "You can get through anything."

As Swati cried, she knew that Rishi was right. She was strong, and she could move on.

Meanwhile, Karthik walked away from the reunion hall, his eyes red from crying. He remembered the memories he had shared with Swati, and he knew that he would always cherish them.

As he walked, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that he had finally let go of the past, and he was ready to move on.

With a newfound sense of courage, Karthik walked into the unknown, ready to face whatever life threw his way.
